the two constructions were restored using reconstructions techniques based on bio-architecture principles :eco-compatible materials that were carefully identified and selected in order to reproduce the original style , typical of a rural culture ththa has all but disappeared. the reconstruction work carried out is barely noticeable.Thanks to the materials and design elements the traditional exterior was maintained and the interior was turned into comfortable contemporary living space.Authenti historical testimonials are found in the outdoor area where the archaeologists discovered the remains of a cenobite basiliano , or monastery ,which from the seventh to the twelfth century , was inhabited by Greek-Oriental rite monks.The significance of the ancient origins is highlighted by the use of local materials , foremost of all limestone.These materials , typical of Campania , make for imposing constructions that draw attention to the history of the area. Moreover , the subsequent modern-key interpretation of the materials has resulted a very warm and comfortable environment ,where staying becomes a pleasure .Beams and floors in artisan terra-cotta and ancient stone like pietra calpazio of Capaccio give il cannito a unique atmosphere that combines the charm of history with the latest in comfort .
